Summary: The deeper signifcance of Yaakov fighting Esav's angel - the S.M. - is basically the batttle against the evil forces who want to make the descendants of Yaakov stuck in exile forever, seeing that the redemption is so closed, sealed and hidden, so they take this advantage to make it impossible to get out. However, Yaakov has the power to overcome them, allowing the for light of hope. Also discussed is the Chanukah oil lamp, as the key for hope etc.
