Austin (Twitter: @Round_Trippers) and Felipe (@pathological_h8) discuss the biggest free agent signings that had occurred right before Major League Baseball went on their lockout as they looked at the rosters of these teams with their new players.
The show begins with the guys talking about the New York Mets as they were the team that made the big-splash moves acquiring an ace pitcher to complement Jacob deGrom in the starting rotation and completely redesigning their hitting lineup with their free agent acquisitions.
The focus then turns to the Texas Rangers as they have a couple of new, big-name, big-money middle infielders and the guys try to explain why these two players would want to go to a team that is trying to rebuild and is still trying to develop a lot of their young players.
The Seattle Mariners acquired a big-name starting pitcher of their own to complement their young core as they look to be locked and ready to compete in the American League West for years to come. They also acquired a steady second baseman to bring some consistency to their lineup.
Finally, the show ends with the guys analyzing the new-look Toronto Blue Jays starting rotation for the upcoming 2022 season.
