Description

In all our lives, we have had figures of authority, ranging from parents, teachers, police officers, bosses, mentors, teachers, coaches and more. Now in a perfect world, a figure of authority is supposed to look out for the people under him/her, to make sure they are taken care of, make sure they are prepared to go out in the world, and help the people to be better than the authority themselves, right? Right! But unfortunately, we live in a broken world and while some people in authority do these things, we have others that are self-serving, only looking out for themselves, hurts others, step on other people’s back to get ahead, throw people under the bus, etc. I know you have one or maybe 5 people in mind who do this.  What should we do about them? In this podcast I speak on the story of David and his boss, King Saul, also I add my own story of a professor's accusation against me in my college undergrad years... I hope you enjoy this episode!

Show Notes:

I said David's conscience bothered him before he cut Saul's robe, when in actuality David's conscience bothered him AFTER he cut the robe (see 1 Samuel 24:5).

Whenever Saul did one thing, David did 1000 times better (see 1 Samuel 18:7).

I said two co-workers cried when it was only one cried.
