Description

Today on Working Man we’ve got a guest with a very unique resume. He’s a priest, a moral theologian, and the rector of St. John Fisher Seminary in Stamford, Connecticut. Before being ordained in 1997,  he worked in air freight, and prior to that, he spent several years in the Marine Corps as a tank commander.
That’s right. A Marine tank commander who is now a priest.
His name is Fr. Paul Check, and he knows a thing or two about a thing or two when it comes to fatherhood, manhood, and  forming young men in holiness.
On today’s episode, we talk about the correct understanding of virtue, discipline, authority, and freedom, why men need a correct understanding of these things in order to flourish, and who is—aside from our Lord and Our Lady—Fr. Check’s favorite character in the Bible. I’ll give you hint: it begins with a C and it rhymes with “enturion.”
