As a true freshman at the University of Georgia, Rennie was considered one of the top weakside linebackers in his class earning the tag "the most dominant player in the game". In the 2010 NFL Draft Rennie was picked 97th over all to the Tennessee Titans. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Edmonton Eskimos and the BC Lions.
