Home Before Dark (2020) is a based on true life story of a 9 year old journalist, Hilde Lysiak, who investigates the details of a murder that happened 31 years ago. Her family move to Erie Harbor, her dad, Matthew's, hometown after her dad loses his job as a journalist. Through it all, Hilde finds that everyone is hiding secrets and that it is her job to find out the truth to a story that her dad is involved in. This episode goes over some of the relationships in the show and how it connects to our interest in suspense stories such as Home Before Dark.
