On today’s episode of Gut Check Radio, we talk about an issue that I hear a lot of complaints about and am personally very familiar with: Traveler’s Constipation. Whether for business or pleasure, traveling can be a fun experience, and shouldn’t have to be hindered by suddenly having irregular bowel movements (or, rather, a lack thereof). In this episode I equip you with five different tactics (as well as one extra bonus tactic) that you can try the next time you fly, which I have found helpful for both me and my patients. I touch on managing our schedules, and how this is an important focus when it comes to sleep, eating, and exercise. Then we talk about mindset, and how important it is to remember why we’re traveling in the first place. Lastly, I share a list of helpful supplements that can help make a difference in our digestion staying regular when our schedules are not, and as a bonus I recommend a wonderful meditation program that might just do the trick for you the next time you have to change time zones.
