On today’s episode of Gut Check Radio, I get the chance to chat with Sam Saxon, who shares about her journey from being an aspiring veterinarian to now working as a Crossfit Coach, as she helps others grow stronger and more confident every day. We really get into the weeds on this one, as Sam and I talk about the ways women in fitness tend to perceive themselves, and how she’s trying to change that paradigm one life at a time. Sam shares what it’s like balancing coaching with motherhood, and how she’s working to break the negative cycle of diet culture that she found herself in as a child. I ask Sam about some of the most meaningful work she’s gotten to do throughout her career, as well as some of the biggest challenges she and her clients face on a daily basis. Finally, Sam shares her Gut Check Moment with us, as well as some serious wisdom on what it takes for each of us to achieve our health and fitness goals.
