An Excerpt from a long conversation with the poet Ibbar Rabbi in 2003, New Delhi 

Ibbar Rabbi (born on 2 March 1941)is an important Hindi poet and journalist. Belongs to Aligarh in UP he came Delhi in 1960 and worked with the Navbharat Times till he retired. He is a well read poet and his interests include the history and art of Indian subcontinent. He has 4 books of poems Khansti Hui Nadi, Ghoshnapatra, Logbag, and Varsha Mein Bheegkar. Many of his poems translated into Russian, German, French and English apart from many Indian languages. Here is an excerpt from a long conversation recorded in the month of his 60th birthday at his residence in New Delhi.
