Description

Jerica Wortham is a spoken word artist, author, entrepreneur and project director for the Greenwood Art Project. Jerica created J’Parlé Literary Magazine and J’Parlé Live, which consistently produces some of the best creative events in Oklahoma. She is also an executive producer for the comedy web series Blerds and an organizer of Rush Fest among many other creative, business and community service pursuits.

In this episode Doc and Ali discuss how Jerica is able to balance all of her creative and entrepreneurial pursuits and how she became an artist in the first place. They also dive deep into details on the Greenwood Art Project and what we can expect from the artists associated with it. And they discuss Jerica’s participation in the Fire in Little Africa sessions and how she came to be on a song with Steph Simon, Dialtone, and Ayilla.
