Hello all you lucky listeners out there in podcast land! Welcome to Hometalks Episode #7 And your host- The Voice of SDJA…yes, I now have a subtitle. We decided we loved having Mrs. Wu start us off every week, so here she is with  “Wade in the Water”.

Thank you Mrs. Wu-so good to hear your smiling face and -your young back up singers! Remember last week when we introduced a new segment to our podcasts called  ‘Conversations’ where our roving reporters conduct zoom interviews? This week we have TWO interviews for you! Let’s start with the first one today Noa and Max will be speaking with musician  , a multi-talented performer and songwriter who specializes in children’s music.

Thank you Stages Class . You can find more great songs on Jason mensches YouTube channel Jason Mensches Music with new premiers each week. Next we have a little news about music in a premiere news segment from Mr. Collin’s Music class called “ Music Central’ Agam Hammond and Rayna Williams will discuss the effects of Covid-19 on the music world.

Also! Don’t forget to look at your email Sunday morning and read HAPPENINGS, with great articles and photos from all of our students. Here’s The Associate Director of Advancement to tell you all about it.

In our second interview today, Max and Noa talk to Dynamite Dave- watch out-this could be explosive!

Finally let’s end with another song, taking us back to a selection from SDJA alumni Toren Rosenzweig from his album “Beta” available on iTunes and Spotify, his song” Raise Up”

See what happens when you get music instruction at SDJA? Amazing…. Before we close today we want to reach out to our Class of 2020 who will graduate this Sunday- Mazel Tov to all, you have already proven your strength in the hurdles you have overcome-go well, we will always be here with support and admiration.  That’s all for now…. tune in next week for our final Podcast broadcast of the 2019/20 school year!
