When Actor/Producer/DJ Edward Daniels and I initially decided to have a conversation, it was supposed to be focused on creative ways to make money and save money. To be more exact, we had planned on talking about how to have a career in the arts and NOT be a starving artist. But being the passionate and conscious human beings we are, we could not (and would not) avoid, first, dealing with the current events of the day, the loss of comedic genius Robin Williams and the chaos happening in Ferguson, MO.
So, as I always do, I let the wine flow and the conversation go in the direction it was meant to move in. From heavy to light, we take a verbal journey, going from racial disparity and stereotypes, to entrepreneurship, sex with Uber drivers, hosting strangers in your home, extreme couponing, getting free stuff, and finally, my birthday!!
Hang on. It's an interesting ride.
