On Episode 9 of the Sounds of Stonebridge Podcast, we featured our new and improved format. Over the weekend, I saw some of my fellow members and listeners walking the "oval" and they suggested we get a little less sports intensive and gear the shows towards a bigger cross section of Stonebridge residents. It was also suggested that we add more female voices to the show than just Don, Jeff and me. So in this episode, we invited Jean Frankel to come back on and discuss a wide variety of topics. We discussed using this time at home to accomplish some of those aspirational things that we have always told ourselves we wanted to do but have not, virtually of course. This was inspired by a segment that I saw on CBS Sunday Morning about virtual guided tour visits to America's amazing National Parks. I plan to go virtully visit Zion National Park this week. If you want to learn more about this, click on the following link: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/visiting-our-national-parks-online/ I also challenged Don Gould to learn how to bake me a birthday cake as I know Donny doesn't cook. Later this week our resident Psychoanalyst, MaryLou Schimel will be back for a second visit. Thursday, Herb Lehman, MD will come on the show and discuss what it's like in emergency rooms across the country as that was his speciality. Some of you will be hearing from me to come on the show.
