Description

The Sounds of Stonebridge has now moved to a 3 day a week schedule.  Today's show was dominated by all of the changes that the club is implementing as we move to the next phase in re-opening following the height of the Covid-19 crisis.  There are changes all around.  Jeff Hall started off talking about golf.  There won't be that many changes out of the golf department.  The range is now open for all practice.  You don't need any sort of reservation before using the range for practice.  You can now come up to the golf staging area 45 minutes before your scheduled tee times for practice.  There is no need to rush.  Last, on Saturday, we will be going back to double tees.  Jeff feels with the 10 minute splits, we should avoid the issues that we have occassionally run into when earlier golfers turn.  At the end of the show, Jeff then made an announcement about a special event that will take place on Monday, Memorial Day.  It starts with a morning or afternoon shotgun,  While there are still some details that need to be finalized, from what Jeff laid out so far, it will be fun.  John Ianotti is also going into his bag of tricks in order to serve food and drinks during and after the event, of course staying within the social distancing and related guidelines.  Jeff also updated the new guidelines for the Fitness Center.  Sally has also created some creative solutions with new outside classes while keeping things safe for everyone.  Don't forget that you need to call the Pro Shop to make a reservation to use the gym, 561-488-0808.  Last, Jean and I discussed the idea of transparency and how critical it is in the re-opening process.  Don't forget about the new show schedule.
