Disregard what I said at the top of this episode. It is in fact episode 13. Apparently, I can't count. On today's episode of the Sounds of Stonebridge Podcast, Lynn Baron, the co-chair of the entertainment committee came on to talk about a variety of subjects that are near and dear to all of our hearts here at Stonebridge...our great events and entertainment. Lynn discussed this year's closing event "Under the Sea" theme along with the menu. Lynn mentioned this was going to be an outdoor-indoor style event where cocktails and hor douvres started by the pool with the festivities then shifting inside. Lynn then went on to explain how they go about selecting the events for us each season. Jeff then updated us on the PGA Tour's plan to restart the golf tour in June. The first 4 events will be played with no galleries. The first event with galleries is not scheduled till the middle of July. Speaking of golf, there was an interesting piece on golfdigest.com about playing golf during a pandemic and the moral dilemna that it creates for many. https://www.golfdigest.com/story/playing-golf-during-a-pandemic-might-be-safe-but-is-it-right As far as an update for activities here, that will of course be dictated by the Governor and Mayor of Palm Beach County. We have a packed week of great guests for next week's podcasts so don't miss an episode. as always, you can email us at soundsofstonebridge@gmail.com Last, we had some slight technical issues so we apologize for that.
