For over 30 years, David Ginsburg was the Baltimore sports editor for the Associated Press. Over the course of his career he was responsible for coverage of the Orioles, Ravens, the University of Maryland and whatever else sports came along in the DMV. He began his career as a freshman at Maryland stringing high school games. When he graduated from College Park in 1975, he decided he wanted to be a full-time sportswriter.
