Julie Gratz is a director, animator, and artist who combines her musicality and skill in fine art to create animations that perfectly compliment the music they accompany. Julie co-founded Kaleida Studio in 2013 and is still the Executive Director. Kaleida Studio is a video and animation production studio that specialises in animation for film, music, documentary, and commercial projects.
We created this as a response to COVID-19. These talks are a way of documenting the times we live in and to share thoughts from international artists and the art industry in times of social distancing. I hope you won’t mind the quality of the recording as all of the talks were live-streamed from Instagram. Thank you to all the artists, curators and art experts who took part in this series.
