This episode, I am joined by a good friend, Jon Kirbitz to talk about his experiences of making the drumline of one of the most well known colleges in the country, the University of Michigan. Drums are deeply woven into Jon’s life and he shares some of his background, family history and what it’s meant for him. He also shares some valuable lessons and experiences that he learned throughout his musical journey. From managing and juggling schedules, adjusting on the fly, and learning how to perform under pressure, these skills have helped him with aspects of his life after band and have carried on to his nursing career and also his current pursuit of a doctorate and becoming a CRNA.
