For this episode, I’m joined by super talented singer songwriter, JonPaul Wallace and we had a super fun conversation. Outside of his main passion of music, he also recently graduated from Oakland University with a degree in Finance and Marketing. In addition to that, he is currently one of the managers at his family’s pizza and ice cream shop. During this interview, he shared his journey from getting connected to a label at the age of 15, and detailed what it looked like to develop his musical skills at such a young age. We discussed the business aspect of music and how he is implementing what he’s learned from college in order to be a more well rounded artist within the industry. Lastly and possibly most importantly, we also learned the history of the Wallace family business of owning and operating a pizza/ice cream shop. To my surprise, we somehow found a way to tie it all together. Enjoy the episode!
