Recent synchronised moves in US assets has received much attention. While US treasuries typically act as a hedge against weak equity markets, we saw positive correlation during the month, with treasuries moving lower together with stocks and dollar.

The weakness across US-related assets prompted questions on whether treasuries and the dollar are losing their safe-haven status as investors look elsewhere amid policy uncertainty.
