In this passage Jesus is making it clear that no one will know when the final coming of Christ will be. Only God the Father knows when the End will be. Jesus then provides three lessons and one warning in the passage. All of these lesson reinforce this one very clear teaching: No one knows when Christ will return except God the Father Himself. Because of this, Jesus's disciples should glean as much wisdom from these examples as they can.
