Today, on The Neil Haley Show, Rev. Winn Henderson MD and Neil Haley will interview Lucinda Koza of IAlly.com. The Boomer Generation is turning 70 at a rate of 10,000 per day, living years longer than was expected when the safety net was built -- and leaving 15% of women ages 25 - 54 to bear the responsibility of care. The financial, physical and emotional strain has knocked women out of the workforce in their prime earning years, causing a strain on the economy and decreasing the country's productivity overall. Total lack of support takes caregiver stress to caregiver burnout, often causing a depletion of their mental, financial and physical health. I, Ally has incentivized partners to provide solutions that are more easily accessible and are created with the Primary Caregiver in mind. Financial institutions, expert advocates, and pro-bono services number among the activated army of allies who refuse to stand by while an American population is in crisis. Our mission is to preserve the Primary Caregiver and to save her life - www.ially.com. Then, Neil will interview Ashequka Lacey of Inspiring Jreams - On October 1st Ashequka Lacey, native of Columbus, OH will be launching her new publishing company Inspiring Jreams. The ideas came after she self published her own successful book “Jakobi and Me”, about a baby with special needs and an awesome big brother named Ameir. These happen to be her very own children and her very own story. The book was so successful that Ashequka wanted to set up a way to help other creators chase their dreams. Giving up was never an option for Ashequka, after having Jakobi who was born with a lethal form of Dwarfism and having doctors tell you what is impossible she says “ He is everything the doctors said he wouldn’t be”, now at 1 years old he is doing great. She never expected to write a children's book. However, one day while at the hospital with Jakobi she saw how engaged he was as a volunteer read to him and that sparked her vision. She decided she would write a story about the most important people in her life and that was her boys. She wanted to bring awareness to the form of dwarfism that Jakobi has and at times educate not only children but adults as well. Now she is turning that process into a business to help others. This is the strong never give up attitude that will make her publishing company such a success, not only for her but other creators as well - inspiringjreamspublishing@gmail.com.
