As I reflect on the life of a man who did many things before passing away, I realize that I need to double down on what matters in this life. And newsflash, it has nothing to do with making more money, getting more stuff, gaining more power, or anything like that. It's taken me 34 years on this planet to realize that, other than God, the only thing that really matters is the impact you have on other people.
Regardless of where your religion or personal belief system lies, I encourage you to look closely at the relationships you have in your life. Are you loving others as best as you can? Are you putting others before yourself? Matthew 22: 37 - 39 says "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, "Love your neighbor as yourself". Regardless if you are religious or not, the second is human truth that we should all be able to get behind. Love until you can't love anymore.
