A few nights ago, we had a Q&A session in the stream, and I had someone ask me "Why do you stream"? I've always felt that streaming was my opportunity to build a place for people to belong. It's been the core of why I do what I do, because too many people in this world don't feel like they belong anywhere. Whether that's at home, church, school, work, wherever. Video games offers them an escape from that reality.
If you're a content creator, I encourage you to find your "why". Too many people start streaming either because it's the "dream job" or because "I'm already playing games, I might as well stream it". The latter is fine if you want this to be a hobby and that's it, but don't create outrageous goals for yourself that don't align to the purpose you have for streaming. Make sure you find your "why", and then align your goals accordingly. Have a great day and God Bless!
