Let's come together to move through a guided 20-Minute Yoga Flow to clear, heal, and grow within our Root Chakras, the powerhouse of our confidence, security, stability, abundance, manifestation, setting foundations for growth, healing, feeling present in the moment, trusting in ourselves, and overall feeling strong in life. Inspired by the surprising poll in my Instagram stories to see if you'd like me to share the mini sequence I created for my Yoga Teacher Training, this flow is all for YOU. You can expect in this practice some hip-opening poses, as well as some lower back and leg stretches. If you need them, you can grab a bolster, blankets, and a couple blocks to help modify the deeper hip stretch poses. For the next twenty minutes we’re going to be focusing on the Root Chakra. Through working with our bodies to stretch and open the lower back, hips, and legs we connect the Root Chakra all the way down to the Earth Chakras located in our feet and back up through the spine to increase the flow of our life-force energy.
As humans when we shove our emotions down deep, they end up in getting stored in our hips. If you experience any sensations, maybe tingling, coldness, or heat, know this is the body detoxing all that stagnant energy and the sensations will soon stop; of course if you experience any pain, listen to your body and back out of the pose as much as you need to.
