Charles is a retired father of 4 who's been a runner for 35 years and has literally hundreds of races and other runs, ranging from 5k's to marathons, and up to a trail 200 miler, including about 80 Ultramarathons, not all of which he's actually finished (DNF'd close to 20 races).
Some running highlights and most memorable experiences we talk about include his 200 mile finish, a 100 miler, finishing a loop at the Barkley Marathons back in 2011, finishing a run of the 76 mile Foothills Trail in South Carolina (on his 5th attempt), and more.
