Ephesians 5:22

BIG IDEA: Our subjection to others must be based on Christ and his ultimate authority. Wives should be subject to their husbands, that is to say, to obey them as they obey Christ.

• the wife should only be subject to her official husband. the wife should render a godly and faithful submission to her husband
• women should receive instruction, advice and guidance from their own husbands in the duties of the home and the spiritual life.
•  the wife's subjection must be based on the Law of God and not on the counsel of man.
