In our first segment podcast episode for the SWEEP HIGHLIGHTS, I spoke to NAVFAC SW Real Estate Business Line team members, Tanya Spenst, Jasmine Moore and Erin Grandgirard, about their exciting lease initiative in support of Commander, Navy Region Southwest Child and Youth Programs. The team recently released a RFP seeking offers from private industry to lease commercial childcare space/facilities in the greater San Diego County region. The potential leased space(s) will be utilized as Navy operated childcare center(s) that will offer military families much needed childcare space in the region. NAVFAC SW Real Estate Business Line is responsible for the acquisition, management and disposal of the Navy’s real estate interests to meet mission requirements. The Real Estate Business Line does this through a variety of innovative and rewarding programs introduced during this episode.
