In the earlier morning hours of November 11th, 2011 Kenneth Chamberlain accidentally activated his medical alert device. Moments later the Whiteplanes Police Department sent officers to do a welfare check on Mr. Chamberlain. Who later refused to let officers Into his apartment. Officers forced their way into the apartment where they later shot Chamberlain, killing him.
