ABOUT PROFESSOR PARRISH
Dr. James Parrish joined the UNT G. Brint Ryan College of Business in 2017 as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences. Before coming to UNT, he held faculty positions at the University of Arkansas - Little Rock and Nova Southeastern University, where he was the Chair of the Department of Information Systems and Cybersecurity. In addition to his academic appointments, Dr. Parrish has served on several academic and industry boards. He was the Vice President of Student Chapters for the Association of Information Systems, the Co-Chair of the Partnership Advancing Computing Education, and the President and Chairman of the South Florida Technology Alliance. In 2014, Dr. Parrish was named one of the 100 most influential people in South Florida technology by TechWeek magazine. He has been invited as a keynote speaker for several academic and industry events, and his research has appeared in multiple high-level journals and conference proceedings.
