"I always kinda, I guess I grew up with a mindset of scarcity and lack and I think maybe I didn't get the right attention or I just, I didn't receive the proper things that a child should receive. And so that ended up manifesting in the way that I thought about myself and doing that for awhile."

In this podcast, Angus Mitchell tells his own experience with depression and how he found a way to love himself through spirituality. It was not easy for him to be able to get rid of the negativity in his life, but through spiritual growth he learned that there is more than just one side to life. He learned that it is okay not to be okay sometimes and that we should focus on loving ourselves. He also talks about the toxic positivity movement which is a trend in our society today.
