Brooklyn born, Berklee trained multi-instrumentalist Nick Johnson has followed his musical passion from his hometown of New York, to Boston, Los Angeles and now – Nashville, Tennessee – all in pursuit of synthesizing that perfect formula for success. After honing his chops with regional touring bands – and getting a firsthand taste of the true Nashville scene with a long tenure on the fabled and competitive Broadway circuit in Music City – Johnson was ready to launch his solo career proper from the heartland of America.
Johnson – known nationally for his solid six-string skills – is no stranger to making a big splash recently scoring two of his own songs on the big screen via major Hollywood releases (“She’s So Lonely”/Bill Murray Experience, “Playmate”/Party Bus To Hell). Now, the in-demand guitarist is writing a new script with a debut record that will soon see him take on a leading role as compelling artist with a story of his own to tell.
