Re-introducing trauma through behaviors we’ve learned from our past.
Why do we act out bad behaviors that we are comfortable with?
Trauma, physically, affects the brain and body, causing anxiety, rage, and the inability to concentrate. People have problems, remembering, trusting, and forming relationships. All the news reports and discussions tend to focus on war veterans, abuse, children, domestic, violence, victims, and victims of violent crime suffer as well. We grow up with examples that impact our abilities to make decisions based on our own personal circumstances and experiences. Trauma infiltrated my life from the beginning. Even though I’ve been exposed to trauma, I believe that I am able to live a positively productive life. The work never stops. I have to remain present so that I don’t get blindsided by my uninvited emotions…yes that’s a real thing for me…my emotions are raw and so I have to be aware of my energies. I know you have many choices in the podcast world so thank you so much for being here with me today. I appreciate you, your time and energy.
