Today we speak with my good friend Ro Clausen. She is married to a man who is serving 213 years in prison. Adam was sentenced under an outdated and now illegal sentencing guideline called 924C. This allowed prosecutors to stack the mandatory minimum sentence for Adam and that totaled 213 years or 2 life sentences back to back. Even though they can no longer do this to offenders, Adam is still sitting in prison over 20 years after his crime was committed. 924C is no more, but it was not made retroactive and that is why he is still in prison. Adam is now a life coach and has so much to offer the world as a free man. We also discuss the justice project.
