Today's is a life long Imperial resident, member of the planning committee for the city of Imperial, single mom and now candidate for Imperial City Council, Katie Burnworth. She is one of 4 candidates running for 2 open spots, also 2 of the candidates are incumbent. I asked Katie who is a working mom with two young children why she chose to run for city council specially in this situation we are in.
