Today I had the pleasure of talking to former Calexico City council member and now Imperial County board of supervisor for district 1, Mr Jesus "Cachu" Escobar. Growing up in Calexico, politics wasn't something Mr Escobar aspire to do. As he grew older and started a family he felt there was a lot of needs for Calexico/Imperial Valley residents so he decided to run for Calexico City Council. He soon found out that he could do a lot more as a member of the board of supervisors. Mr Escobar talked to us about issues he's constituents are dealing with currently and plans for the future.
