Today I had the pleasure of chatting with an amazing artist, professor, activist, poet and author Ms Karla Cordero. Karla is a Calexico native who in a short amount of time has accomplished a lot. She won the Diversity Award for San Diego State University, her book How To Pull Apart the Earth won the 2019 SDSU Book Awards and is a finalist for the 2019 International Book Award.
