She now owns Events by Neakai -an event production company- planning events for high end clientele. Laurie, owner of Lyfevents, grew up in Toronto and never in a million years thought she would end up producing events for brands such as IMDb, Google music, YouTube, Amazon, Microsoft and adidas. Apparently it was in the cards for her. These mompreneurs, who share a love for live events and activations, look forward to one day producing for some of the largest black cultural events in North America.
