Kurathazhwan led a life consistent with the teachings of Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita. His son Parasara Bhattar, is renowned for having exceptional abilities and intelligence even at a very young age. Penpillai describes an incident where Bhattar, as a little boy, used his insight, and humbled a proud old scholar.
