I am a strong woman and I've coped with some pretty significant adversity in my life with pragmatism and a degree of humanity. But this one stripped me not only of my humanity, it stripped me of my motherhood, it stripped me of me. And that was very, very surprising. And I have come to understand why it is.”
Kate Nicholls is the author of Under the Camelthorn Tree in which she shares her experiences of raising her five children in Botswana, and home-schooling them, and living in a lion conservation camp.
