Time with Hajia Amina Sammo on PODCAST with SHEILA.
Hajia is a Financial Literacy Campaigner, a Chartered Accountant, Project management professional with over 20 years of service experience in varied industries with a strong financial analytical background. She was the Finance & Administrative Manager on the USAID EQUALL project, a one time Branch and Accounts manager for CAL Bank Ghana. She was the Director of Projects and Programmes for the Ministry of Inner City and Zongo Development (Ghana).
Hajia shared with us her Educational journey with all the limitations that did not deter her but with determination and the right attitude, she was able to handle top Directorial positions. She also talked about how everyone in their own small way can start a business or can be gainfully employed. Hajia states that everyone can be employed or set up their own business unless the person decides not to work. In short, Unemployment must be a forgotten word, espercially amongst graduates because they have the ability to start something of their own with little or no money at all.
She narrated varied ways a graduate or the youth can take up head pan/table top family businesses and with the knowledge, training and experience gathered from the university turn that into a household business. Listen to the whole interview to hear more.
