Season 2 Episode 35
HOST: Sheila Glavee
GUEST: Akanksha Agarwal
This week, our podcast guest Akanksha Agarwal who is a covid survivor, a Philanthropist, artist, wife and mother shared with us her covid journey and life in general and this is what she had to say.
"Recently I was infected with Corona virus and my upper and lower limbs stopped working. It was really a tough time for me. I had to be shifted between home and hospital. I am in recovery mode now, many thanks to the nurse, doctor, physiotherapist , my mom , my husband, my family and my staff at home.
I was like a dead meet being moved from one place to the other by people on a wheelchair and they did it with love, humility and care. I was like a baby who needed all the care in the world.
When you are giving up on life, little moments of kindness – a cup of coffee or green tea being made for you and just someone listening to what you have to say can change your day for the better.
My hope was not lost and even if I was at my lowest, life could get better and that there is a reason to live .
That moment will stay with me forever. While fighting with Corona , the side effects of heavy medications, the loss of mobilty in my limbs, I began to make the most of my time by writing down my thoughts in my mobile notes..."
Why not listen to the full episode for yourself. We talked about life after covid and how a full time housewife managed to become a successful social media icon. Akanksha emphasised on setting our priorities right if we want to become successful at everything we do.
