Having spent most of his adult life under the Colours in the British Army from being an infantry soldier to being an experienced PSYOPS Operator on 7 operational deployments, gave him some awesome opportunities.

Born in 1958 on a farm, Tim at age 11 thought he was going to become a farmer just like his grandfather. After writing the 11+ exam and failing woefully, he decided to go to an agricultural boarding school, so he sat for the entrance exam and again he failed. At that point his life changed. He decided to join the British Army, took the exam at age 14 and failed miserably at that too. He fail again and again but never gave up, finally he was able to join the British Army at age 16 on the 6th of August, 1974. He worked in the Army for 44 years rising through the ranks.

Tim played a lot of rugby and his position was at scrum half, he ski telemark and competed several times at the British Telemark Championships, he was a Hang Gliding Instructor, played American Football for Milton Keynes Pioneers, a reasonably experienced offshore sailor who owned 3 boats, sailed around the UK with just his wife and Artie the Ship's cat.

He spent his last 8 years in the Army as a Unit Welfare Officer for London Central Garrison and have taken part in all the Ceremonial duties in London during that time.
