Dr. Ron Oberstein has served as President of Life Chiropractic College West since 2017. Prior to becoming the president of Life West, Dr. Oberstein practiced in San Deigo and was a member of the Life Chiropractic College West Board of Regents from 1991 to 2016, including two years as the Chairman of the Board.
As an active member of the chiropractic community, Dr. Oberstein has served in leadership roles in numerous organizations, most recently as Chair of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges.
He has taught chiropractic technique, philosophy, and principles in multiple chiropractic colleges and globally. Dr. Oberstein and his wife of 30 years, Dr. Mary, have practiced together since 1986, serving multitudes of patients and mentoring hundreds of new graduates.
They have three daughters, Drs. Lauren, Morgan and Sydney, all of whom are chiropractors. Dr. Oberstein graduated from Life Chiropractic College (now Life University) in 1981.
