My favorite band, The Who, recorded an album called Quadrophenia . It was about this British mod kid who is struggling to find himself. Ah, it was just so representative of the time. Set in the mid-60’s. Coming out of recovery from WWII
Its main theme centers on identity. Your internal identity and those versions of identity imposed by external sources.
It is amazing music. It’s very powerful and driving
