The Beak was launched in 2014 initially as a nomadic project by award winning food and drink journalist Danny Tapper. Danny perfected recipes on his one-barrel kit in the Yorkshire Dales, before cuckoo brewing at the likes of North, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. Having built a strong UK following, this summer The Beak opened their brewery and taproom, which includes a mixed fermentation project, in Lewes, Sussex.
