I am delighted to welcome to the podcast Tom Hutchins from Brew By Numbers, based in Greenwich.
Brew By Numbers was launched in December 2012, and quickly applied a scientific approach to brewing, working with split batches, in a quest for constant improvement. The numbering system attributed to these early tests gave rise to their name - Brew By Numbers.
As they enter their tenth year Brew By Numbers continue to lead the way for hazy East Coast pale ales in the UK, and are also seen as a pioneer on issues such as the importance of freshness, beer cold storage, and continue to be a major influence on taproom culture in London.
