Mick Garris, the Master of Horror himself, directs and co-writes Critters 2: The Main Course. Mostly taking place in broad daylight compared to the first film, Critters 2 makes use of its Easter setting for a variety of social and religious satire. There are real stakes here and even a romance between Brad Brown (Scott Grimes) and Megan Morgan (Liane Alexandra Curtis).
Critters 2 is a solid follow up to Critters.
