From the writer and director of Police Academy, Dudley Do-Right is a live-action adaptation of the Jay Ward cartoon aimed at a very young audience. Brendan Fraser and Sarah Jessica Parker are very sincere in the leads, but Alfred Molina steals the show with his over-the-top faithful portrayal of Snidely Whiplash. It's an inoffensive movie at best dragged down by a plot with no real stakes until the end. The Fractured Fairy Tales cartoon that opens the movie is better than the feature!
