Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William T. Thrasher of Sequelcast 2 fame discuss why they are launching a new podcast looking at the short-lived Star Wars animated series Star Wars: Droids in this premiere episode of In Trouble Again A Star Wars: Droids Podcast. Despite lasting for a scant lone season and change, this animated series featured high quality animation and actual continuity, both rarities for 1980s Western animated series. Taking place between Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, the series takes a look at the adventures of C-3PO and R2-D2 across multiple planets as they swear fealty to multiple masters.
Although it never has had a full season release on home video in the United States, we still feel it is a series worth exploring in this special limited run podcast and hope you enjoy taking this journey with us in a galaxy far, far away.
